Very Sad News

Many of you will have met Gareth Bartle, a member of our Judging Panel, recently elected member of the Management Committee, and also Henley Town Council's Parks Manager. Gareth, was diagnosed with a terminal illness in October 2017. Unfortunately, on Friday 4th May, Gareth came to the end of his journey. He was surrounded by his family and in the place he chose to be - Sue Ryder Nettlebed. Gareth was a close friend to many of us and this is a huge loss to his family, colleagues and friends, as well as Thames and Chilterns in Bloom. Those of us that knew him know that Gareth was the life and soul of anything he got involved in
